-- He wrote the Torres Unit's current Peer Education Training Module,

began a systematic training protocol,  and developed its first-ever unit-wide Talent Show

        manual (2015)

-- He developed the DMP (Distance Mentorship Program)

David Constante

What happens when you pick up a point-and-shoot camera and never put it down?

Well, that was David in 2005. He simply upgraded.

Why did he do it? At first, he says it was for experience and photoshop was a cool tool to

manipulate images. Years later, he became comfortable with his profession in retouching

which helped him in finalizing some really cool images. Now that he's happy with the

creative journey in composition and editing, he's learned that photography is also about

helping others. He says, "If I can help others be confident, help reach a dream, help a business

grow through my pictures, I'd feel like I've done well. It's also the duty God gave me to

provide for my wife and 2 sons. It's about helping others and supporting my family."

David is now the Senior Photographer of Creative Media Services Marketing,

Communication & Media for  UT Health San Antonio.

His works can be seen at www.constantephoto.com.

Guillermo Quinones, Jr.

Guillermo is the father of three children. He describes them as "two teens and one young

adult beautiful lady." After living a life engulfed in sin and complete darkness, he ended up

in prison with a  15-year sentence, of which he served five years. Of this experience, he says,

"That’s where Christ was revealed to me, and I repented of my sinful ways and trusted in the

redemptive work of Christ, my Lord and Savior."

He's passionate about the work of redemption that our Heavenly Father gives us through

Christ, a new beginning and a fresh start. A simple and uncomplicated man, he loves sharing

God’s forgiveness with others and supporting the local church by helping leaders find their

design in the body of Christ. He does this by helping them become a walking blueprint that

others may be encouraged by.

He works full time as a Customer Service Representative in the Automobile Industry and

serves as co-pastor at a local church in Dallas, TX, called The Cities of Refuge. Guillermo

loves the Lord, loves people, and serves others with the heart of one who's known loss and

redemption.

“No matter where I find myself, whether at church, parkwork or just the grocery store,

I must never forget I’m a walking blueprint, designed by the Architect of Creation."

Joe Carillo

Born in 1966 in Mexico City, Mexico, to Hermelindo and Guadalupe Carrillo. His parents migrated to San Antonio, Texas, in 1968 with visas and became residents and later American citizens. He was raised as the son of a successful brick layer,

by a father who had his own masonry contracting company. Joe’s weekends and summers were

spent helping his father.

In 1992, he ventured on his own and started to pick up small tile jobs here and there.

With the help of his father and his connections to builders and remodelers, there was no

shortage of work. In 1994, he formally established Carillo Tile, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas

and married the love of his life the following year.

Joe and Linda are proud parents of four grown children, all accomplished in their own right.

Their younger son just moved to College Station where he will pursue a degree in construction

science. Their oldest is in Florida pursuing her doctorate in criminal justice. Their second oldest,

Steven, is a published author with his second book in printing and soon to be available.

Their 22-year, Matthew, labors with them in the family business.

They are members of Leon Valley Baptist Church for over 20 years, serving under Pastor Forest Jones. Joe got involved in the prison ministry through his church which is actively involved in prison ministries. His work in the ministry began in 2007 thanks to Joe Dirago the leader of the Dominguez prison ministry. In 2010 Pastor Bill Patterson also from their church and involved in the Torres prison ministry, invited him to go with him and see what God was doing in the Torres unit.  In the summer of that same year, Bill Patterson entrusted the Thursday English Bible study to Joe, and God has blessed this study now for 11 years.

It was at the Torres unit where Joe met Ruben Constante, Jr. and they have remained friends ever since.

Miguel Sanzana

Miguel was born in the city of Santiago Chile on January 31, 1975. Married to Sole Rivera for 25 years. As a result of their love, five children were born: Naomi, Israel, Catalina, Constanza and little Isaac.

After a difficult childhood and adolescence, he met the Lord at 18 years old.

That day is branded in his heart, and his life was never the same again. It was that

day that he experienced God's love and forgiveness, and with His help, Miguel

gave up marijuana, cigarettes, and bad words. In short, it was a work of Grace.

Miguel’s beginning in the Lord's work was as a worship minister, and in parallel,

he preached and sang in the streets. He did for eight years, and it was a beautiful time

of connection and deep thirst for God. After some years, he and his wife began to

work as youth leaders, in addition to assuming the direction of the radio of our

congregation.

It was thus that, as a family, and at the beginning of 2012, they were sent as managers

of the local church in Santiago. For the year 2013, and after being tested and having

born fruit, they were recognized as pastors of this congregation, which has been eight years since its foundation.

During these years, as a family and married couple, they have served in leadership, worship, and marriage conferences. Today, they are senior pastors of the Casa de Vida Church in Chile and founders of El Cielo Governa Ministry, which is a tool in building the church of Christ. Inspired by the Lord, they run a school of improvement called Competent Ministers, based on new life in Christ.

Currently, they work together with other pastors as a network, so that the Kingdom of Heaven continues to advance. Above all, they rejoice in declaring that "Everything is for Him and for Him."

David Coley

Founder and Director of a reentry facility called Transformations, David serves the Lord with excellence and

with a passion for God’s people. Transformations is the vision, given by God, to David who lived a life without

direction or purpose for more than 40 years. He was caught in the endless cycle of wrong choices and bad

decisions. This self-serving lifestyle ultimately landed him in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system.

This is where the destructiveness of his life finally got his attention. Something had to change.

He was raised in a family where Christian values were taught. His grandfather was a preacher and his dad served

as a deacon in a local church assembly. This Christian influence during his youth was the crucial element in

providing direction now that he found himself an adult in prison.

After release, he created a service business in order to fund his desire to help those in the same situation he had

just been through. The experience and training during his life enabled him to start a business serving the

commercial and residential community. Through dedication and hard-work the business grew enabling him

the begin his vision. After years of study and preparation Transformations was created.

Transformations is a reentry facility to help men transitioning from incarceration to freedom. This ministry is

designed to help men find direction. It is a program based on the teachings of Christ to guide and help men

take their rightful place of integrity and honor designed by God. Transformations is here to help men be men

and take back what the evil one has stolen from them. Come take back your life and live it in the perfect will and design of the Creator.
